Bhalukpong is typically an area one arrives first while travelling from Guwahati before heading to higher altitude areas enroute to Tawang. It is an attractive destination for wildlife admirers and nature lovers. It is situated at West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh and is nearer to Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. The Kameng River running in the forest surrounding, makes the town even more attractive.

By Road: You can get bus from Tezpur to reach Bhalukpong. 
By Train: The nearest railway station is at Rangapara Railway Station. 
By Air: Tezpur Airport is the nearest aerodrome to this location.
