About Gundla Brahmeswaram Sanctuary

Situated on the Gundla Brahmeswaram plateau with the River Gundlakamma stretching across , this sanctuary spreads over the Nallamalai hill range, and is surrounded by lush green plateaus and rocky valleys. Due to the deciduous type of forest here, one can have soothing and pleasant atmosphere even in the raging summers. This is also a place known for its tiger reserves and the first ever sanctuary to conduct tiger census in the state.

By Air: Hyderabad is the nearest airport which is 295 km away from the sanctuary.  
By Rail: Nandyal is nearest Railway Station to Gundla Brahmeswaram Sanctuary which can be reached from Hyderabad by bus, cab or private car.
By Road: Gundla Brahmeswaram Sanctuary  is well connected by APSRTC & Private bus services. It is connected to all major cities nearby.

Animals like langur, jungle cat, panther, tiger, mouse deer, and hyena and bonnet monkey, reptiles like monitor lizard, python and marsh crocodile, and also endangered animals like chausingha, chinkara, nilgai, black buck, sambar and pangolin.
