The serene and tranquil valley of Janjehli is located 67 kilometres away from Mandi, and at an altitude of 2,200 metres. This valley is noted for its enhanced lush surroundings, and soothing greenery. This valley can be used as a bse for trekking to various places and that’s why this place is so popular among international tourists. It is a virgin tourist place which is also a paradise for hikers.

How to reach

By Road: Mandi is the nearest habitat from where one can starts his journey towards Janjehli. From Mandi, the distance is around 87 kilometres and government buses are easily available. 
By Rail: Nearest railway stations are at- Shimla (90 kilometres away), Chandigarh (240 kilometres away) and at Pathankot. Tourists can hire a cab or board a bus to reach Mandi. 
By Air : nearest airport is at Shimla, located 88 kilometres away. Cabs are easily available from the terminus.

  • Best time to visit this place is during the summers and also during the early phase of winters, that is during the months of November and December.

  • Shikari Devi Temple- This temple is quite famous and popular among the locals, especially among the hunter clans. This place is 15 kilometres away from janjehli. 
    Kamrunag Temple- Another famous temple located quite close to Janjehli. Local inhabitants consider this temple as holy and a shrine where the wishes of everyone get fulfilled. 
    Apart from that, tourists can also visit places like- Chindi, Karsag and Shoja. All these places can be visited while you are staying at Janjehli.
