About Rahala Falls

The uniqueness of Rahala Falls lies in its geographical and demographical features. It is a cascade and punchbowl type of waterfall, located 16 kilometres from Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass. The waterfall is a tourtist attraction on the Leh-Manali highway and is known worldwide for its unique demography. Surrounded by thick deodar forests and birch trees, this place is tranquil ambience.


How to reach

By Road : Manali is the nearest town, which is connected with Delhi NCR via NH 21 and NH 1. Direct buses and cabs are easily available. 
By Rail : Jogindernagar railway station is the nearest one from where one can travel to Rahala Falls. One can hail a cab from the station itself.
By Air : Nearest airport is located at Bhuntar which is located 50 kilometres away.

  • Best time to visit this place is between the months of March and November. During this time of tyhe year, the footfasll remains considerably high and the weather also remains good.

  • Some small eateries are there that serve local as well as North Indian dishes like- Rajma-Chawal, Biryani and many more. The dhises made of fish are really awesome.

  • Rehala Falls is known for its magniofiscent climate and beautiful natural surroundings. The water id fresh and the surroundings are good for picnic. 
    If you are visiting this waterfall then do make a point to visit the nearby town of Manali and also visit the nearby Rohtang Pass.

  • The adjoining places offer an excellent opportunity for activities like and trekking and forest safari. The forest here is an ideal for some outdoor photoshoot as well.
