Shojha is a small village, still untouched and unravaged by the pollution and degradation. Located in the middle of a soothing wilderness and panoramic beauty, Shojha is a place that is only meant to give you solaced when you need it the most. Located at a distance of 5 kilometres from Jalori Pass, Shojha can boast of a pleasant weather throughout the year. This place is packed with tourist attractions like- forts, waterfalls, forests and mountains.

How to reach

By Road : Tourists can travel to this place from either Mandi or Manali. State run buses are available from both the places. 
By Rail : Nearest railway station is at Shimla located 60 kilometres away. Joginder Nagar railway station is located 165 kilometres away. Buses and cabs are available from both the places. 
By Air: Chandigarh airport is the nearest one located 70 kilometres away. Cabs are available from the terminus.

  • April to June is the best time to visit this place. During this time the weather remains quite pleasant. Avoid visiting this place during the months of monsoon.

  • Some good hotels and easteries are there which serve a variety of dishes like- North Indian, Muglai and Continental.

  • Attractions
  • Waterfall Point - Located just a kilometre away from the city, this place is known for its scenic beauty that will make you spellbound. The sound of the water hitying the rocky surface is simply awesome. 
    Serolsar Lake - Located 5 kilometres from jalori, this lake is a fresh water lake, surrounded by lofty trees. It is a nice place for organising a small picnic. 
    Raghupur Fort - Built by the Mandi rulers to protect themselves against enemy attacks, this fort today stands mostly in ruins. However, it is an indispensible part of the local history and culture.

  • Activities
  • - When it come to fun activities, you cannot possibly miss out visiting the Jalori Pass, a famous trekking route that hugs the wilderness of the adjoining areas.
    - Also you can visit the nearby Tirthan valley for some fishing activities or some bird watching. It would be a really nice thing to do apart from regular trekking and site-seeing.
