About Yarada Beach

This beach is located in a secluded and less crowded area, surrounded by rocky hills on three sides and the Bay of Bengal on the fourth side. It is about 15 kms from the main city of Visakhapatnam and has a natural charm covered by banana and coconut trees, and multicoloured crabs playfully moving on the beach sands.

How to reach

By Road : State and private buses are available from the nearest city of Visakhapatnam to reach Yarada beach. 
By Rail : Visakhapatnam has its own rail station which is well connected with the other major cities and towns of India by proper railway network. From there private cars/taxis can be hired to reach Yarada. 
By Air : The nearest airport is in Visakhapatnam which is well-connected by flights that come from Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi and other major cities of India.

  • The best time to visit Yarada beach is during the months of October to April. The refreshing showers during the extremes of this period makes the journey more interesting.

  • - Activities around Yarada beach is limited as this is a place less frequented by tourists, though it is a popular weekend destination. Nevertheless, sunset and sunrise viewing, walking along the soft sand, watching the aquatic life, or just whaling your time around the beachside.
