By Air : Nearest airport to the town of Ananthagiri is Visakhapatnam which is located about 58 kms from the desired destination. The airport is well connected to many major cities of the country including Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi etc. 
By Rail : Srikakulam serves as the nearest railway station to Ananthagiri lying at a mere distance of 3 km. This railway passing through the Eastern Ghats offering breathtaking views is one of the highest broad gauges in the world. Taxis and auto rickshaws are easily available for hire from outside the railway station.
By Road : Ananthagiri is well connected to Hyderabad through several private as well as state owned buses. The smooth roads often make for an enjoyable ride from Hyderabad.

  • Since Ananthagiri is 1400mt above the sea level, the temperature cools down during the winter season. Also, this season is ideal for adventure activities like trekking and camping.

  • The town doesn't own many eating outlets.So,try carrying some packaged food along while exploring the hill town.

  • Several swift streams flow through Anantagiri though it is the river Musi or Muchkunda that originates from Anantagiri. While at Anantagiri besides basking in the beauty of the nature do visit the sacred Bhavanasi Lake. In fact owing to the holy waters of the Bhavanasi Lake Anantagiri is referred to as the Badrinath of the South. Other than these, other major attractions of Ananthagiri are Dolphin's Nose, Katiki Waterfalls, and Tyda Park.
