About Dirang

Dirang is a small town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located about 43 km from Bomdila on the way to Tawang. The town is mostly used by tourists for overnight halt on the way to Tawang. Surrounded by snow capped peaks, gorgeous streams and verdant greenery, Dirang is an ideal place for tourist to enjoy.

By Train : Tezpur rail head is 193 kms from Dirang and the closest railway station. 
By Air : Guwahati airport is 351 kms from Dirang and the closest airport to the destination.

  • Dirang Fort – This four storied fortification was built in 1833. Besides, yak research center, a hot spring at the outskirts of the town and Kalachakra Gompa are the must see places.

    Sangti valley: 7 kms from Dirang, this valley is known for its breathtaking view.
