Balpakram National Park is about 3000 feet above the sea level. Balpakram National Park is located in south Garo hills district of Meghalaya. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery, this national park is a must visit for any wildlife. The park is enriched with green vegetation that includes various plant species with unique plants like: Drosera, Orchids, and Pitcher Plants.
It is also filled with colourful butterflies that migrate from different regions during monsoon seasons.
Location: Placed 90 kilometres from Garo Hills, Meghalaya, India.
Balpakram National Park consists of wild species like Tiger and Elephants.

How to reach

By Road: First one has to reach Guwahati. From there one can take super deluxe buses to Tura. From Tura hire cab to Balpakram via Baghmara.
By Train: Guwahati is the nearest rail head.
By Air: Guwahati is 220 kms and the nearest airport.
